iUsers app allows multiple user profiles on a jailbroken iPad

The number of apps on offer to iPhone, iPad and smartphone users is exploding

The iPad is a one-person device, meaning it's not like a Windows or Mac computer in that it can't have multiple users "log in" to it. Ah, but that's only a limitation of non-jailbroken devices, with the new iUsers app.

The iUsers app puts a user profile button on the iPad's homepage. Tapping that enables a user to swap profiles easily. For now apps, music, and other content are still shared between users, with only app data (settings, game high scores, etc.) being user specific. The developer of iUsers is working on adding more user-specific data.

As we said earlier, this is only possible on a jailbroken iPad, once again showing just how useful jailbreaking an iDevice is. Expect it to show up in the Cydia app store for jailbroken apps, soon, but if users install the source cydia.iblogeek.com, they can get it now.
